The Rules in Short
- The deal: four cards each, then three drawing rounds with betting.
- The hand: cards of the same suit or rank do not count, so a four-card badugi beats any three-card hand.
- Aces: aces are low.
- Limits: badugi is usually played fixed-limit.
Badugi at Live Festivals in Asia
Badugi is rare at festivals in the region; it appears mainly in mixed game and dealer's choice events. The lists on this page come from our festival database and update as organizers publish their schedules and results.
