How We Work
AsiaPokerHub is built on data. We follow the official sources of live poker in Asia and Oceania every day, bring what we find into one format, and publish it only after a person has checked it. This page explains where our data comes from, how we use AI, who reviews what we publish, how we correct mistakes and how we make money.

What We Publish
Most of AsiaPokerHub is data: the poker calendar, the schedules and results of festivals, and pages about tours, countries and the players who win. Our news is written from the same data: schedule announcements, winner reports, festival numbers and calendar round-ups. We do not rewrite other outlets' stories, and we do not publish press releases as news.
Where Our Data Comes From
Our sources are official: the websites, announcements, schedules and results of the tour and festival organizers, and data feeds where an organizer provides one. Our software monitors these sources, collects the changes and brings them into one format. A member of our team reviews the data before it appears on the site.
| What | Sources | How often we check | Who reviews it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Festivals and schedules | Organizer websites, official announcements and schedules | Daily for upcoming and running festivals, weekly for the rest | Our data editor decides when a festival has enough information to be published |
| Results | Official results published by the organizer or the venue | During and after each festival | Our data team checks names, countries, places and prizes |
| Tours | Official tour websites and announcements | Weekly | Our data team |
| Online poker rooms and casinos | The operators' own websites and terms | Daily | Our partnerships team |
Data changes all the time: a date moves, an event is added, a result is corrected. Our pages update when the source does, so the information you see is the latest we have checked.
How We Use AI
AI is part of our automation. It helps us process the data we collect and draft articles from it. Every draft is checked against our data by an automatic test and then by a person before it is published, including its title, summary and image text. Articles written with AI assistance carry a note under the byline that says so and names the person who checked it.
Who Checks What We Publish
Our data editor, Gábor "Jessy" Magyari, reviews the festival and results data and decides when a festival is ready to be shown. Our editor-in-chief, Csaba "Chaar-Lee" Szirják, is responsible for what we publish. You can read more about the team on our About Us page.
Bylines
- Data pages (calendar, festivals, tours) have no personal byline: they are the work of our data team.
- Articles written from our data are published by AsiaPokerHub Data Desk, with the name of the person who verified them.
- A personal byline is given only to the person who wrote or substantially rewrote an article.
Corrections
- Small errors such as typos or formatting are fixed without a note.
- Factual errors in an article (a date, an amount, a name, a result) are corrected, and a dated correction note is added at the end of the article.
- Data pages are updated continuously, so changes there are not marked one by one.
If you find a mistake, write to support@asiapokerhub.com with the link and what is wrong. We check every report. We are a small team, so we cannot promise a response time, but we fix every confirmed error.
How We Make Money
AsiaPokerHub is free to use. We earn through affiliate marketing: when a player signs up with one of our partner poker rooms or casinos through our links, the partner pays us a commission. We also sell a limited number of banner spaces and list positions.
- Sponsored placements are labeled, and every affiliate link is marked as sponsored for search engines.
- A partner deal can change a position in a list. When it does, we aim to get something extra for players, such as a freeroll, a satellite or a special tournament.
- We never sell news coverage or let partners write our articles.
The details are in our Affiliate Disclosure.
Ownership
AsiaPokerHub is part of the PokerZON family of poker sites and is operated by Magnolia ITS, a Hungarian software company founded in 2008. The company details are on our About Us page.
