The Field
Six Day 1 flights ran from September 5 to 7. The 1,185 entries produced a prize pool of VND 30.2 billion (~US$1.17 million), just above the VND 30 billion guarantee, and 150 places were paid. Vietnamese players took 66 of those cashes, China 25 and South Korea 17. The field was smaller than the 1,520 entries of the May Main Event.
The Winner
Nguyen had 15 recorded cashes and one title before Ha Long. His best was fifth place in the Quads Summer 2026 Main Event, worth about US$33,600. The first prize here was five times that and lifts his live earnings recorded by Asia Poker Hub since 2024 to about US$295,700.
The Festival
In May, the Main Event went to another Vietnamese player, Thi Minh Hong Pham, for VND 6.2 billion; that series is on the USOP Vietnam HaLong Bay 2026 results page. The September series in numbers is in USOP Vietnam HaLong Bay II 2026 by the Numbers, and more stops are on the U Series of Poker (USOP) calendar.
