The Field
Four Day 1 flights ran from September 10 to 12. The three with official counts drew 143, 208 and 298 entries, so the field grew with every day. The prize pool reached KRW 1.22 billion (~US$895,200), 22% more than the KRW 1 billion guarantee. The top 111 places were paid, and Japan took 50 of those cashes, ahead of China with 21 and Russia with 12.
The Winner
Fukatsu had 10 recorded cashes and one title before this event. His best was fourth place in the Ultra Stack at APT Incheon 2026, held at the same resort a month earlier, for about US$16,200. With his second title, his live earnings recorded by Asia Poker Hub since 2024 rise to about US$207,500.
The Festival
The Main Event brought in 18% of the festival's 4,355 entries and 29% of its prize money. The other 49 events, the multiple winners and the country table are covered in APPT Korea 2026 by the Numbers, and the next stops are on the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) schedule.
