The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) is the regional live tour of PokerStars, running since 2007. It opened in August 2007 in Manila, in the Philippines, with a US$2,500 Main Event that Brett Parise won for US$179,775. Its festivals now carry the PokerStars LIVE name.
In recent seasons the APPT has run three or four festivals a year, each lasting about twelve days. Manila is its home: the summer APPT Manila festival and the autumn APPT Manila Championship both take place at Okada Manila. The tour first visited Cambodia in November 2022, at NagaWorld in Phnom Penh. In 2026 it added a South Korea stop at Paradise City Incheon. Recent festivals have offered between 50 and 80 events.
The schedule centers on a mid-range Main Event: PHP 80,000 (~US$1,300) in Manila and KRW 1.8 million (~US$1,300) in Korea. The Manila Championship Main Event is a step up at about PHP 165,000 (~US$3,000). Around it sit the lower buy-in APPT National, Mystery Bounty events, High Rollers, a Super High Roller and many live qualifiers. Players with a PokerStars account can also buy in through the online client, as the official APPT page on PokerStars LIVE explains.
Manila has produced the biggest fields. The 2018 APPT Manila Main Event drew 1,364 players, the largest at the time, and Singapore's Wilson Lim won it. The APPT Manila 2026 Main Event then reached 1,413 entries and PHP 97.7 million (~US$1.6 million), the largest APPT field in Asia Poker Hub data since 2024. Local player Mike Takayama took that title. A month later, Japan's Hirotaka Fukatsu won the 782-entry APPT Korea 2026 Main Event.

Satellites to APPT events run online on PokerStars, the tour's official online partner, with packages that can cover the Main Event buy-in and travel. Live satellites usually run at the venue in the days before the Main Event.
