The Field
Players could enter over 13 Day 1 flights from July 28 to August 1. The busiest was Day 1K on August 1, with 313 entries. The 1,043 entries played for a MYR 4 million (~US$1 million) prize pool, the same as the guarantee, and 140 places were paid. Malaysians took 56 of those cashes, Singapore 32 and China 19.
The Winner
Lim had 12 recorded cashes before Genting Highlands but no title. His best was fourth place in the Poker Dream 19 Malaysia Main Event, worth about US$53,900. This win almost tripled that and lifts his live earnings recorded by Asia Poker Hub since 2024 to about US$214,100.
The Festival
The Main Event was one of 82 events with results at the series. The rest, from the biggest fields to titles by country, is in Poker Dream 25 Malaysia by the Numbers, and the next stops are on the Poker Dream tour calendar.
