Grand Loyal Poker Championship (GLPC)

The Grand Loyal Poker Championship (GLPC) is a live poker series hosted by the Grand Loyal Poker Club, a card room in Hanoi, Vietnam. The club is located inside the Grand Vista Hanoi Hotel, so players can stay a few floors above the tournament area. In October 2025 it ran as the Grand Loyal Poker Championship powered by the U Series of Poker (USOP). In 2026 it moved to numbered editions, with GLPC III in January, GLPC IV in April and GLPC V from late July.

A GLPC festival lasts 11 or 12 days and carries 40 to 55 numbered events. The Main Event costs VND 17.6 million (~US$670) and plays over several Day 1 flights. Around it sit a five-flight Kick Off, a Mini Main Event, High Rollers and a Super Star Challenge at up to VND 66 million (~US$2,500). Qualifying is mostly through live satellites at the club, and the Grand Loyal Poker Club Facebook page posts schedules and packages. Fields mix Vietnamese regulars with players from China, India and the wider region.

The GLPC IV festival in April 2026 recorded 6,244 entries over 47 trophy events and a VND 63.8 billion (~US$2.4 million) prize pool. Its Main Event drew 1,094 entries, the largest GLPC field in Asia Poker Hub data, and India's Avneesh Munjal took the title.
