WPT Seoul 2026: The Ultimate Guide

WPT Seoul 2026 brings the World Poker Tour (WPT) to the Seoul area for 11 days, from October 30 to November 9. You will find 45 tournaments and nine satellites, with a KRW 1.75 million (~US$1,290) Main Event that promises KRW 1 billion (~US$736,000). This guide walks through the venue, the schedule, the guaranteed events, the satellite routes and the kind of player the series suits.

Dates and Venue

The series plays every day from Friday, October 30 to Monday, November 9, 2026. All events are at Inspire Casino on Yeongjong Island in Incheon, South Korea, the same island as the city's international airport. Tournament times follow Korea time (UTC+9).

The Schedule at a Glance

  • 45 tournaments and 9 satellites over 11 playing days
  • 37 Hold'em and 8 Omaha events, including Big O, 5 Card PLO, PLO 4/5/6 and a Double Board Bomb Pot
  • Buy-ins from KRW 350,000 (~US$258) for the 10/10/10 turbo up to KRW 8 million (~US$5,890) for the Super High Roller
  • Three guaranteed events with KRW 1.25 billion (~US$920,000) promised in total

Nine Evening Hyper Turbos give you a fast late option on most nights. Every start time is in the WPT Seoul 2026 schedule and live results.

The Main Event

The WPT Seoul INSPIRE Championship is a No Limit Hold'em event with a KRW 1,750,000 (~US$1,290) buy-in, of which KRW 175,000 is the fee. You start with 40,000 chips, and levels last 60 minutes. Four starting flights, Day 1A to Day 1D, run from November 5, and the final table plays on November 9.

The KRW 1 billion guarantee is 80% of all guaranteed money at the series, so the Main Event is clearly the week's focus.

Beyond the guarantees, a few events stand out. The Mystery Bounty costs KRW 1 million (~US$736), and the Survivor Bounty costs KRW 1.3 million (~US$957). The Super High Roller at KRW 8 million is the most expensive event, with 250,000 starting chips. The Mini Championship at KRW 700,000 is a cheaper championship-style option.

How to Qualify

The live satellites at Inspire are the main route in:

  • Main Event milestone satellites cost KRW 400,000 (~US$294). Every player who reaches 50,000 chips wins a seat. Six run between November 1 and 6, and five of them guarantee a set number of seats, 23 in total. The November 4 satellite alone guarantees 10.
  • High Roller satellite on November 8 at KRW 600,000 (~US$442).
  • Bounty satellites at KRW 300,000 (~US$221) on October 31 and November 2, for the Mystery Bounty and the Survivor Bounty.

Seat counts can change, so check the latest satellite list before you travel. This guide covers only the live satellites listed in the schedule.

Last Year

WPT Seoul is new in the Asia Poker Hub data, so there is no previous edition to compare. The tour's last Korean stop in our records was the WPT Jeju Poker Festival 2024 at LES A Casino, from November 15 to 22, 2024. In 2026 the WPT has already visited Cambodia twice and Australia once in the region, and Seoul is its last Asian stop before the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas from November 27.

Who Should Play

The series suits mid-stakes Hold'em players who want a WPT title within a modest budget. Main Event satellites at under a quarter of the buy-in make it realistic for local recreational players too. Omaha regulars have eight events, and turbo fans can play almost every evening. If you are already in Korea that week, the Gods of Poker series at Paradise City runs in Incheon on almost the same dates.
