The Field
Day 1 ran over four flights from July 13 to 15. The three with official counts drew 163, 136 and 180 entries. The 597 entries created a KRW 2.06 billion (~US$1.37 million) prize pool, 15% above the KRW 1.8 billion guarantee, and 92 places were paid. Chinese players took 64 of those cashes and Vietnamese players 10.
The Winner
Ta's rise was steep. He had 11 recorded cashes before the Championship, and his best was 18th place in the Baby Dragon Plus earlier in the same series, worth about US$4,200. The first prize was more than 50 times that, and it lifts his live earnings recorded by Asia Poker Hub since 2024 from about US$20,900 to about US$253,500.
The Festival
The Championship was one of 83 events with results in Jeju. Totals, top prizes and titles by country are in RDPT Plus Jeju Summer 2026 by the Numbers, and the other stops are on the Red Dragon Poker Tour (RDPT) calendar.
