Sun closed it out with ace-four. Singapore's Steve Ng finished second and his compatriot Kwang Chung Tan third. Ireland's Toby Joyce placed fourth, and the last five seats all went to players from China.

The Field

The 1,375 entries built a prize pool of KRW 3.21 billion (~US$2.39 million), 46% above the KRW 2.2 billion guarantee. The field was 318 entries smaller than the 1,693 of the 2025 Main Event at the same festival. The top 200 places were paid, and Chinese players took 97 of those cashes, almost half. Japan was next with 19.

The Winner

Sun came to Jeju with 78 recorded cashes and five titles, so this was his sixth. His previous best was third place in a Mystery Bounty at the KPC x LPT Series 2026, worth about US$82,600. The Main Event almost quadrupled that and took his live earnings recorded by Asia Poker Hub since 2024 to about US$998,700, just short of US$1 million.

The Festival

The 2025 Main Event went to Singapore's Abraham Ceesvin, whose run is on the APT Jeju 2025 results page. The 2026 festival as a whole is broken down in APT Jeju 2026 by the Numbers, and the remaining stops are on the Asian Poker Tour (APT) calendar.
