Players Series

The Players Series (PS) is a live poker tour based in Taipei, Taiwan, that started with its first festival in December 2024. Its motto is “Affordable, Inclusive, Player-First”, and the buy-ins are set for regional players rather than traveling high rollers. Every edition so far has been held at CTP Asia Poker Arena, in cooperation with the local CTP Club, and the online room Natural8 is the main sponsor.

The tour runs about two festivals a year, each lasting 11 to 13 days. The center of every schedule is a TWD 33,000 Main Event with several starting flights, surrounded by side events at lower and higher buy-ins. The official Players Series site publishes the schedule in seven languages.

Fields grew fast in the first year. The PS Championship II Main Event in 2025 drew 897 entries and TWD 25.6 million (~US$837,000), the largest field of the tour so far, won by local player Shunping Wang. In 2026 players from South Korea won both Main Events: Kiyoung Kim at PS Championship III and Seungmook Jung at PS Championship IV.
