Korea Poker Cup (KPC)

The Korea Poker Cup (KPC) is the original name of a live poker series on Jeju island, South Korea. Its first Main Event ran in November 2024 as one of the series inside the Jeju Poker Festival, with a KRW 1.6 million (~US$1,150) buy-in and 530 entries. The Netherlands' Joris Michl won that first title. The brand held its first standalone series in April 2025 and ran under this name until early 2026.

Every Korea Poker Cup festival took place at LES A Casino in Jeju Shinhwa World, then known as Landing Casino. A typical week combined a KRW 1.3 million (~US$900) multi-flight Main Event with a Jeju Cup, Mystery Bounty events, High Rollers and Super High Rollers priced in US dollars. Many players traveled from China, Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong. The official KPC site keeps the brand's schedules today.

Main Event fields grew quickly. The April 2025 series drew 1,228 entries, and the June edition reached 1,432 for a KRW 1.6 billion (~US$1.2 million) prize pool. The KPC x LPT Series in January 2026, run with the Long Poker Tour, set the mark with 2,030 entries and KRW 2.28 billion (~US$1.6 million), won by China's Lante Zhang. The series now continues as the K Poker Cup, also branded as KPC Poker.
